Introducing Steven De Pelsmaeker. A very fanatic cyclist whose focus is bikepacking. Steven is taking part in the Transost Challenge this summer: 3,000 km from Germany to Romania via Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine. Completely off-road and totally self-reliant. Steven is ready to meet the challenge with Trivio tools!

“The Transost Challenge starts this summer and I'm taking part: 3,000 km off-road through different countries. Belgian roads, cobblestones, rolling hills... we're going to be biking over them all. But what should I bring along so I can ride without a care? It's simple: Trivio bike parts!

For instance, the bottle cages. You come across loads of bottles on the way that have fallen out of their holders, especially on cobbles, but I don't have that problem. When I get where I'm going, I still have the two bottles I set out with. Their shape is really solid thanks to the strong plastic. Even rattling over cobblestones isn't a problem.

I keep a multi-tool, a tyre lever and an extra inner tube in my saddlebag. The multi-tool has everything you need in an instant and can be easily stowed in your saddlebag: 20 tools in 1! The multi-tool is handy and its steel heads work really well! The tyre levers are ideal and make removing a tyre very easy.

I've fixed my pump next to the bottle cages. Pumping up tyres is a dream with the Hurricane Mini. The extendible rubber pipe allows more room for manoeuvre so blowing up tyres is even quicker. I get my outer tyre (25 mm) up to 6 bar without a problem.”
